
CANOE & KAYAK
KAYAKING.
If you simply just want to give it a go or you have previous kayak experience and you want to develop your skills our experienced and enthusiastic instructors will provide a tailor made kayaking course. All instructors are widely skilled and hold at least 3 years post qualifying experience. Our kayaking courses are an ideal opportunity to learn new skills on the exciting wild waters of Wales. For those who want to give it a try there’s a chance to take your BCU canoe “Star Awards” Your first steps toward becoming a kayak instructor!
CANOEING.
Here again we can offer you everything from an introductory canoe course to a full on white water session. Our instructors have paddled widely in the UK and Europe. Some having lead new canoe routes never before paddled.
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES.
We can provide this activity to those from 8 to 80. The activity will be delivered at an age appropriate level that will also include your level of fitness. . For this activity you will need to be reasonably fit.
WEATHER.
This activity is weather dependant, in the case of adverse weather conditions an alternative will be offered, or were appropriate an alternative date.
DURATION.
Full or half day sessions are available. Sessions run 9:00 – 1:00 2:00 – 5:00 other timings available on request.
NUMBERS ON THE DAY.
A minimum of 2 is required to run this session. We can provide 1:1 tuition if you choose but has a different price structure. There is a maximum of 8 per instructor. However we are able to run groups of up to 40.
SPECTATORS.
Spectators can be accommodated in some locations, please call to discuss details.
DRESS CODE.
All specialist equipment is provided. For kayaking you will need to bring swimming gear, old trainers, sweat shirt and towel. For canoeing full set of old cloths, towel, water proof and old trainers.

Available across Wales but our main sites are Tywyn, Llangollen, Welshpool, Betws y Coed and Brecon.
