CAVING

CAVING.
Learn about another world just below our feet. Explore caverns that have been opened up by water creeping through cracks in the rock over thousands of years, sights that have only been glimpsed by a privileged few. We have several caves in North Wales suitable for group or family visits. We also have many more caving venues in South Wales that offer some more challenging trips. For those who are interested in taking up the sport we are also able to offer introduction to caving training courses.

PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES.
We can provide this activity to those from 8 to 80. The activity will be delivered at an age appropriate level that will also include your level of fitness. . For this activity you will need to be reasonably fit.

WEATHER.
This activity is weather dependant, in the case of adverse weather conditions an alternative will be offered, or were appropriate an alternative date.

DURATION.
Half day sessions are available. Sessions run 9:00 – 1:00 2:00 – 5:00 other timings available on request.

NUMBERS ON THE DAY.
There is no minimum number required to run this session. There is a maximum of 8 per instructor. However we are able to run groups of up to 40.

SPECTATORS.
Due to the nature of this activity we are unable to cater for spectators.

DRESS CODE.
All specialist equipment is provided. You will need to bring an old track suit, spare socks and wellies.

AVAILABILITY.
Available all year round.

LOCATION.
We have locations at Tywyn, near Llangollen in North Wales, Welshpool in Mid-Wales and Brecon in South Wales.
