Pro-Active Adventure has a range of operational bases in some of the most spectacular locations in Wales. If you are looking for a school residential trip or a corporate event we are able to offer you the appropriate location. All centres can offer our full range of activities, which will be delivered by our highly qualified and experienced staff.

Canoe-&-Kayaking 3

Pantienion Hall Hotel, Tywyn.
A quaint hotel situated in the steeply wooded valley of Friog. Close to Fairbourne and Tywyn it offers the combination of our full range of activities and beautiful beaches to relax when you take a day off from the activity programme. Pantienion is ideal for schools and groups who are working to a budget. Here you are within 500 meters of the famous Friog Fun Day Venue, so for all you adrenaline activities you just have to walk down the road! Also available locally is: gorge walking, mountaineering, coasteering, mountain biking and mountaineering.

WEATHER.
Mountaineering is weather dependant, in the case of adverse weather conditions an alternative will be offered, or were appropriate an alternative date.

Adrian Rainsford Centre
A well appointed self catering centre close to our Tywyn operation and all its activities. An ideal location for schools on a budget, close to many other attractions. Also a good location adult groups looking for an adrenaline weekend at the Friog site.

Tyn Dwr Hall, Llangollen
A beautiful listed Victorian house of ‘Tudorbethan’ style dated c. 1866-70, a Victorian Coach House and Yurt Camp set in over seven acres of ancient woodland in the vale of Llangollen, home of the international Eisteddfod. Tyn Dwr is our main operational site and boasts fantastic facilities. This is the perfect place to base your adventurous activity visit, all locations are close by so you don’t have to travel for hours in a mini bus to get to your activity. Tyn Dwr has many on site activities such as: Climbing Tower, BMX track, High Ropes Course and Archery.

Conwy YHA
Situated in the beautiful medieval walled town of Conwy, this three star YHA offers breathtaking views over the Conwy estuary and the mountains of the Snowdon National Park. Coasteering, gorge walking and canoe river trips are our speciality here.

Bryn Gwynant
A traditional YHA situated in the Snowdonia National Park, just at the side of a beautiful lake. From here you are ideally placed for mountain days, gorge walking, climbing, mountain biking and coasteering.
