
MOUNTAIN BIKING
MOUNTAIN BIKING.
As a registered centre for mountain bike leader training you are in the right hands to really develop your skills and learn new ones. At our centre in Llangollen you have access to some of the best single track routes in Britain. Alternatively if you simply want a guided mountain bike route you are going to be in the expert hands of a qualified instructor. We have a selection of routes in all our operating areas from beginner to expert.
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES.
We can provide mountain biking to those from 8 to 80. The activity will be delivered at an age appropriate level that will also include your level of fitness. . For this activity you will need to be reasonably fit.
WEATHER.
Mountain biking is weather dependant, in the case of adverse weather conditions an alternative will be offered, or were appropriate an alternative date.
DURATION.
Full or half day sessions are available. Sessions run 9:00 – 1:00 2:00 – 5:00 other timings available on request.
NUMBERS ON THE DAY.
There is no minimum number required to run this session.
There is a maximum of 8 per instructor. However we are able to run groups of up to 20 or 40 if you have your own mountain bike, helmet and gloves.
SPECTATORS.
Due to the nature of mountain biking we are unable to accommodate spectators.
DRESS CODE.
All specialist equipment is provided including bikes for groups of up to 20. You will need to bring a long sleeve top, track suit bottoms and waterproofs. If bringing your own bike you must also have a suitable helmet and gloves.
