MOUNTAINEERING.
Our mountaineering instructors have years of experience, many have been mountaineering all over the world. We are able to offer you a wide range of full and half day routes for beginners or the more experienced, all across Wales. Areas will include the classic routes but also less busy mountaineering area’s off the beaten track and in areas of outstanding natural beauty. Alternatively why not take a short course with us. It is a great way to get you started so you can get on with mountaineering yourself. Aspects of the course covered will be mountain safety, route selection, equipment, navigation with an ethos to self reliance and competence to be able to enjoy the mountains.
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES.
We can provide mountaineering to those from 8 to 80. The activity will be delivered at an age appropriate level that will also include your level of fitness. . For this activity you will need to be reasonably fit.
WEATHER.
Mountaineering is weather dependant, in the case of adverse weather conditions an alternative will be offered, or were appropriate an alternative date.
DURATION.
Full or half day sessions are available. Sessions run 9:00 – 1:00 2:00 – 5:00 other timings available on request.
NUMBERS ON THE DAY.
There is no minimum number required to run this session.
There is a maximum of 8 per instructor. However we are able to run groups of up to 40.
SPECTATORS.
Due to the nature mountaineering we can not accommodate spectators.
DRESS CODE.
All specialist equipment is provided. You will need to bring: well fitting sturdy walking boots, robust outdoor clothing and waterproofs.

Locations include Tywyn, Snowdonia, The Brecon Beacons, The Shropshire Hills and The Clwyd area.
